We are intersectionality-obsessed, innovative, and always a little feisty as we find strength in areas of similarity as well as difference. Patriarchy isolates us to silence our dissent. Feminist Dialogue is responding by building a powerful and progressive feminist community built on our hunger for genuine human connection.

2015 is about growth for Feminist Dialogue with a big uptick in programming and fundraising. We are looking for an energetic group of feminists to join our ranks and be part of the revolution.
Open positions:
Chair of Public Relations
You are a public relations guru, ready to take Feminist Dialogue to the next level with lots of new ideas and techniques for PR. Connections; you've got them! Technology and social media are your BFFs. You are dedicated and want to spread the word about the feminist revolution.
Chair of Development NYC
Any good organization needs funding to grow. You are driven by this principle, a proven-development badass. Parties and fundraising events, high-level donor meetings, and networking are your bread and butter. You are dedicated and want to spread the word about the feminist revolution.
Program Assistants
3 positions available: Social Media PA, PA to Executive Director, and Feminism in NYC Conference PA (please specific you interest area in your application)
You are a busy-beaver, ready to tackle any task. You love working in teams and aren't afraid to offer ideas and take direction. You have a strong feminist voice but also a hunger to learn from mentors. You work best in small teams. You are a community outreach and social media genius, who enjoys building community across cultures. You are dedicated and want to spread the word about the feminist revolution.
Tweeters (12 positions available)
Tweeters tweet 1 day per week and can be located anywhere
Twitter is your middle name. You've got your eye on what's hot in Feminist social media circles and you love to express yourself via twitter. Your peeps follow you on social media and you want them to follow us. You are dedicated and want to spread the word about the feminist revolution.
Time & Location Commitment (for chair, co-chair positions, and PAs):

Approx. 5-7 hours per week.

Located within easy reach of New York City.

Must work will be done remotely, with monthly in-person meetings.
Time & Location Commitment (for Tweeters):

Approx. 1 hour per week.

Location does not matter, as long as you have consistent access to the internet.

Must be familiar with Twitter and social media tools.

Feminist Dialogue aims for inclusivity in e-ver-y-thing we do. We encourage men and people from marginalized identities, including women of color, LGBTQ+, non-binary, disabled, and low-income people to join our team. Diversity of voice, experience, background, and viewpoint is a core principle of our organization.
All positions are volunteer staff roles. We endeavor to pay our staff, but at this moment, everyone is a volunteer. New team members are expected to join our team in mid-February.
